Our Struggles, God Can Heal

Everyone struggles, God is aware of you and your struggles, but what if though those really hard times you learn to rely on him because of your struggles and trails. Without having bad times or days you wouldn’t understand, or have empathy for someone else. You also wouldn’t understand true joy.  No one can truly know how you feel, or experience your pain but you and Jesus Christ. Christ has felt your pain, your happiness your grief, sadness joy, all of your human emotions because he felt them all, he atoned for you. Right now our family is going though a really tough time with my mother being very sick and then passing from this mortal life. I didn’t know her pain, I don’t know my dad’s pain, and I don’t know my siblings pain, and they don’t  know my pain, but Christ knows our pain. We can learn empathy and compassion as we strife to love like Christ because he loved me and you first. John 4:19 states “We love him, because he loved us first” the next verse then commands us to love our brothers [and sisters].

Who are our brothers? Our brothers are our siblings, our parents, are next door neighbor, the guy you disagree with politically, the person you disagree with on religion, the person you disagree with their lifestyle they are all of Gods children. If we are Gods children that makes us brothers and sisters. Can we not learn to mourn with those we disagree with and find common ground enough to mourn with those that mourn. We never know the impact we may have on someone else. What if our compassion and empathy helps our fellow brethren to come to know Christ. Maybe our struggles will help you teach someone to know Christ. I often don’t understand why I have certain struggles until months or even years later and sometimes I still don’t understand, I do know that God knows and  loves me because he took upon himself all of my emotions, all of my experiences and all of my sin, and he did the same for you.

I have struggled with depression and anxiety so when I had children who struggled with this I was able to help them. I sometimes just have to take a step back and ask for help and allow others to help me with my struggles so that I can feel of God’s love,

There are angels all around us seen and unseen. God has put angels around us to buoy us up. Angels are messengers of God, when we are bearing God’s truth and showing God’s love we are being “Seen” angels. Sometimes we can feel the presence of another being that we can’t see but feel them near, those are the unseen angels bringing God’s message to us. God’s love is power and heals all of our pain, emotional as well as physical pain even the pain of an illness. Only when we solely rely on on Christ and act on His words and love can we truly heal and learn from our struggles.

I know that God lives, I know that he Loves me, I know that I have to go though difficult times so that I can learn compassion and empathy, so I can learn to love like Christ. He is my Redeemer, My Savior. My greatest desire is to be able to look upon his face and to thank him for his gift, one that I can never repay, and to feel the nail prints in his hands and feet and then fall down at his feet and worship him. I love my Savior, Jesus Christ.

Treasures of Heaven By Hannah

The clouds are rippling pink and gold

With rubies only God can hold.

And to my God that I beseech,

I pray that someday I might reach

And touch the jewels that God can touch,

And hold the treasure of heaven I crave so much.

Joy by Hannah

Joy is the soul

with shimmering wings

which soars above

the clouds and sing.

On cloudy days

she finds the light,

and brings the day

into the night. Continue reading

Kindness and Agency

As I have thought and pondered about what I should say or not say, I feel I can no longer stay silent on this one thought: We are being played by Satan and his angels. Satan wants to take away our agency. He will use anything, including people of like mind and government. He is using the tactic of crusades of who is right. If you are right then someone is wrong and we bully our thoughts and feelings onto others. It makes us temporarily feel better. This behavior is wrong and it teaches our kids the wrong message. Kindness is not just the words you say but how you say it and when you say it. We must learn to gracefully agree to disagree. Just because I may not agree with you on one thing or another does not mean my testimony is failing, I’m stupid, or selfish. It simply means I am learning, growing, and have a different life experience than you. I’m human.
